On MSN Chat there are some characters that are not allowed to be in nicknames, for example the (, ), and : characters, which normally keep you from having emoticons in your nickname. However, there are alternative characters that you could use which will allow you to use emoticons in your name. Of course you can also use some of these characters do to less reputable things, but I won't go into detail on those. To use these characters, just copy and paste the boxes next to the characters you want to use.
