Topic: Why are we here?
I've said that a couple of times about finishing QuantumRadio...
Yeah. You know what I mean then.
Yea...
hey man, yeah the purpose of this site was gone 2-3 years ago and those who stayed here already knew they were staying not for the scripting information or anything else. W/e direction you will take your website to we all gonna be around to support you :)
Peace
Exo, wouldn't the realm still have a purpose if you started development on Essence Engine again?
Well sure it would but as usual for me, I'm not happy with EE as it stands right now and would start rewriting large parts of it yet again. I just don't have the time to do it, and don't see why the world needs yet another open source CMS.
It would be sad to see the site divert further from MSN, allthough in the log run, its over.
The page 'msn.php', somewhat serves as a resource that has always been somewhat useful. I wonder in the past years, if i have ever not looked at it for a 30 day time period.
msn.php and its links are and have been very valuable to me, and many others.
I would just like to take this oppurtunity to thank you eXonyte, for all the effort you have put into Vincula and to help us all learn more about the IRCX/MSN protocol over the years.
I don't believe in removing possibly useful information. That page will be on my site, somewhere, forever. One of these days I might even finish the GateKeeper section, who knows.
Nice.
Meh
You're welcome. I know you'd probably vote for a revival of the EE project :P
I would vote for it... I actually wanted to see a completed EE >.>

As if I need to remind anyone, this site is for all intents and purposes dead.
Following its heyday during the MSN Chat days with Vincula and all, there's never been any real reason to come back. All of the posters and regular members have moved on with their lives, myself included, which leaves me with this decision:
What now?
That said, I have a few ideas. Granted they all would attract different types than what we currently have, but who's to say that would be a bad thing? The Realm has always been first and foremost my personal website. Perhaps I should reduce it to a personal blog, more along the lines of Mezzoblue rather than your standard MySpace fare. Perhaps I should actually put a serious focus on Essence Engine again.
Whatever I end up doing, I know one thing for sure: I appreciate everyone who's participated in the Realm in the past years it's been running. I've had lots of good times. Memories such as the $0.05 donation ("it's more than 1 cent!"), the online radio, the hours of chatroom games and scripting, and most importantly the dozens of great friends I've made throughout. I'm not even going to try to list all of you because I know I'd miss many names, but you know who you are. :)
This site won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
