So, I pre-ordered The Orange Box the other night. Started playing the Team Fortress 2 Beta the next morning and I must say, it's worth the decade the game spent in development. The graphics put me off the game the first time I saw screen shots... but when I saw video, I was moved to purchase the game immediately. Thus far, my only complaint is that I sometimes miss all the grenades (they removed them to "fix" grenade spamming) and the only CTF map thus far is 2fort... not that I'm complaining about 2fort, I love 2fort.

I'm not going to go into how great and awesome the game is... if you never played TF or TFC, you lack the experience to frame such delight. And if you have played TF or TFC, just know that it lives up to it's predecessors.

Oh, and the game keeps track of your stats and achievements and displays them on your Steam Community page. Go take a look at mine.

I got off my ass and preordered, so it's currently downloading the relevant games for my perusal and enjoyment.

Anyone got a guest pass for either portal, tf2 or hl2:ep2?

I have no idea how they go about doing guest passes for those games, but if one shows up on my list I'll let you know.

I would have to say it's worth the money though, especially if you don't already have HL2 and Ep1.

I have hl2 and ep1 ... even tho I can give the hl2 and ep1 included with the orange box away...
