...is awesome.

My friend Zach got it today and I went over to his house (I don't have a 360 or PS3) and we started a new band... a few hours later, Estimated Arrival was headed to Stockholme in our private jet in search of international fame. We'd come a long way since we started out in New York City walking from gig to gig, lugging our equipment through the cold streets. Now we had roadies, wheels, wings, and some guy who decided one day to be our manager... oh, and something upwards of 250,000 loyal fans.

Seriously though, the game is great. It has a great song list, and the way that gameplay works is very cool. They did a lot of detail work in the game.. including having your avatar appearing to accurately sing or play along (i.e. the singer looks like he's actually singing the song being performed and the guitarists and drummer look like they're actually playing it.) Also, loading screens consist of your band members' avatars in publicity photos. Oh, and if your band is doing particularly well, you can hear the crowd singing the song along with you... in some cases they even repeat the vocalist's lines during gaps, just don't get confused and think that's what's happening when you hear your singer's voice echoing because he's in overdrive :)

All in all it's a great game, pricey, but worth it if you have the people to play it with.

Seconded, aside from the guitar defect that I'm RMAing for right now.

Yea, I'm "that" guy...

Third'd, except I seriously suck at singing.
